In 2026, our community continues to journey “into the wilderness,” stepping beyond the familiar and comfortable, to meet Christ in the stranger and in our neighbour. Our Giving for Growth campaign identified two new staff roles, whose focus and gifts would enable us to do just that. We are pleased to announce our two newest staff members to you!
Ministry and Community Coordinator: Jane Tuomi

Jane will be joining St. Clement’s as the Ministry and Community Coordinator starting June 1. This part-time position will help to strengthen the ties that bind us as a community and facilitate the many programs we offer at St Clement’s. By way of introduction, we asked Jane to share a bit about herself:
Hello! My name is Jane Tuomi and I am very excited to be joining the St. Clement’s team in the new role of Ministry & Community Coordinator. I have an extensive working background in two major Toronto churches (Unitarian and United). My experience has been focused on senior administration so I am looking forward to this opportunity engaging with newcomers, volunteers and parishioners. It’s all about the people who engage in church life. By way of background, my great grandfather, grandfather and uncle were all Anglican priests.
I am passionate about serving in a church community and love that church welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds and interests offering a spiritual home to all.
My husband Keith and I have two daughters who attended North Toronto Collegiate and Blyth Academy, so we are well acquainted with this vibrant neighbourhood. We live just a few subway stops away and I often enjoy a good long walk on Yonge Street. In my spare time I enjoy a good car trip, a good book, thriller or mystery and spending time with my family.
Young Adults Minister: Hana Suckstorff

Hana will be joining St. Clement’s as the Young Adults Minister starting June 1. This part-time position will facilitate opportunities for young adults to deepen relationships with one another, and foster discipleship through participation in the life of the church. By way of introduction, we asked Hana to share a bit about herself:
Hana is thrilled to be joining the team at St. Clement’s as Young Adults Minister. A native of southeast Michigan, Hana received her Masters of Divinity from Duke in 2016 and moved to Toronto for her PhD in History that same year. During her six years as a doctoral student, Hana was deeply involved in U of T’s grad student campus ministry, working on staff for two years and helping facilitate the young adult Christian community around major life questions such as vocation, money, and relationships. She looks forward to supporting God’s work of fostering discipleship and community among young adults at St. Clement’s and in Yonge-Eg.
A self-professed “professional nerd,” Hana’s interests range from the Italian Renaissance to musical theatre to contemporary housing policy. When not at church Hana can be found practicing music for her young adult choir Univox, hanging out with her niece and nephews, and slowly conquering her fear of urban cycling.
