CHILDREN'S & YOUTH MINISTRY

At St. Clement’s, we’re passionate about introducing children and youth to the love of God in Jesus Christ in safe and age-appropriate ways.

Children and youth are full and equal participants in our common life, and we welcome kids of all backgrounds and abilities to join us in our mission of learning to follow Jesus.

All staff and volunteers undergo mandatory and regular training, screening, and police background checks to ensure our stated values of the fruits of the Spirit are lived out in our common life.

To learn more about how we care for the children and youth in your life, reach out to our Children's Minister, Jeanny Hwang or Rev. Pamela Rayment about youth ministry.

NURSERY

Every Sunday morning during our 9:30 and 11 am services, we offer Nursery care for our littlest members (pre-JK). Our bright, clean, kid-friendly space is fully staffed by our ECE-trained Nursery Minister. Parents and caregivers are welcome to remain with their child(ren) in the space, or to sign them in with our Nursery Minister and pick them up at the end of the worship service. We can't wait to meet you!

CHILDREN

The wonder of story is alive in the hearts of the youngest among us! Join us weekly in-person on Sundays during our 9:30am and 11am services as we gather in Canon Nicholson Hall to connect fun and faith through play and prayer! We offer a space for children to explore the beauty of the Scriptures with our Children's Ministry leaders and then return to the main service in the Sanctuary to share in Communion with their families.

If a child in your care would prefer to stay in the Sanctuary for the full service, our Kids' Zone (at the front and off to the side of our worship space) offers a place for kids to colour, move around, read, play and engage during the service with the best seat in the house! Snacks & Hot Wheels in church are completely okay, as are giggles and loud Amens!

YOUTH

St. Clement’s Youth Ministry is committed to fostering healthy friendships, forming strong and intelligent Christian leaders, serving those in need, and equipping young people with a solid theological foundation for grappling with life’s big questions. Our Youth Ministry team (staff & volunteers) provide regular opportunities to learn and live out faith with their head, heart and hands.

At the moment, we are seeking a new Youth Minister, and once we bring someone onboard, weekly youth ministry will resume from 10:20-10:50 am, in the Youth Room for conversation and connections that matter.

We also offer a fantastic program leading up to Confirmation.
