ALONG THE WAY

The path of learning to follow Jesus is neither linear, nor does it look the same for any two people.

Yet the wisdom and tradition of the church have identified certain moments or experiences (sometimes called sacraments) where God’s invisible love is made visible in our lives.

BAPTISM

Made in faith and before the congregation, baptism is your offering of yourself or your child to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

We’re committed to helping you prepare for baptism with integrity, so that it’s a meaningful experience and the beginning of a life-long relationship with Jesus. Like any journey of great significance, the road to baptism takes time.

Plan to join our weekly worship experience and make an appointment to chat with Associate Rector Pamela Rayment.

CONFIRMATION

Geared toward youth in grade 8 and up, confirmation provides an opportunity for young people to make the Christian faith their own.

Confirmation is a sacrament of asking questions, delving deeper into scripture and worship, and growing into a stronger relationship with God and our church. It’s a time to consider what’s come before, and what possibilities are ahead.

Our program is very much run as an introduction to the faith (history, beliefs, traditions), and is a safe space for youth to have doubts, ask big questions, and try to figure out what they believe. Reach out to Associate Rector Pamela Rayment, for more information.

MARRIAGE

Thank you for your interest in making St. Clement’s a part of your wedding celebration.

We’re committed to ensuring the highest quality of care for the couples (of all sexual orientations and gender expressions) married here, and we invest time and energy in every wedding we conduct.

Above all, we want to help you build the strongest possible foundation as you begin your new life together. We hope this will be a time in which you come to know God’s love in Jesus Christ, either for the first time, or in a deeper way.

Because our resources are limited, we perform weddings primarily for members of the parish and for couples who are interested in joining the congregation.

To receive a copy of our wedding brochure and learn more, please contact our Administrative and Communications Associate, Ariel Brookes
