Thinking about school already? No just backpacks.
Back by popular demand, St. Clement's is holding its backpack and school supplies drive on Sunday, September 11, 2022. This will coincide with Blessings of the Backpacks Sunday.
We will be collecting backpacks and school supplies for elementary and high school students in the
Flemingdon Park Ministry area as well as school supplies and lunch containers for the children at Flemington Park Public School.
The most needed items include:
For Flemingdon Park Ministry high school students:
heavy-duty durable 3 pocket backpacks
math sets
scientific calculators
red, blue, black pens
high-liters
markers
2" ring binders
3-hole lined paper.
For Flemington Park Public School:
Crayola crayons that come in skin tones (fat or thin crayons)
any craft supplies such as
construction paper
popsicle sticks
lunch containers
markers
pencil crayons
glue
any items that could be used in the classroom for children in a kindergarten to Grade 5 school
Flemington Park School also has a nutrition program. Financial donations to the nutrition program or for the purchase of school supplies are also warmly welcomed. Mark your donation to St. Clement's Church, Outreach Committee - backpack and/or nutrition program. You will be able to receive an income tax receipt for your donation.
Financial donations can be submitted at any time.
Can't attend on Sunday, September 11? An alternative drop-off date is Monday, September 12 from 5-6:30pm in the parking lot of St. Clement’s Church.
